The courses at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes offer training in research through research. They consist of master’s courses and “conferences”, ie research seminars.
Master’s courses may in some cases consist of language or linguistics courses or be courses in reading texts in a particular ancient or modern language.
The conferences implement sources in their original language, whether inscriptions, documentary or literary texts, textual or sound archives, and in most cases already assume some knowledge languages used.
These courses are open to students and auditors who must register with the EPHE (and not ILARA!).
